When the theme for World Tourism Day (September 27, 2025) was chosen as “Tourism and sustainable transformation”, many people immediately thought of Hue’s approach to tourism. In its development orientation, Hue tourism consistently focuses on promoting sustainable transformation, especially transitioning to green, sustainable tourism, adapting to climate change.

On October 1st, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, held an online ceremony in response to the 2025 National Innovation Day under the theme “Innovation for All - Driving National Development”.

On the journey to building Vietnam into a reputable destination for medical tourism and healthcare services in the region and the world, Hue holds many advantages to develop and position its brand name as a destination for medical - healthcare tourism.

The establishment and development of Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations - abbreviated as the “Union” (originating from Thua Thien National Salvation Cultural Association in 1945), marks an important milestone in Hue’s cultural history. On September 25, the “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, held a workshop to evaluate the waste sorting at source program in Hue City. On September 21, the Office of the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that Hue City People’s Committee, in collaboration with Phuong Trang Group (FUTA Group), and Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU).

On the afternoon of September 20th, the University of Sciences (Hue University) held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of its Faculty of Architecture (1995 - 2025).
