In the High-Achievement Sports Development Project by Thua Thien Hue Province in the 2021 - 2025 period, with an orientation to 2030, badminton is classified as a group 2 key sport with focused investment. With the appearance of many promising young faces, Thua Thien Hue badminton has a lot of hope.

This is the topic of a media creativity contest, which is organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to promote and raise the awareness of green transportation in Hue City.

This December 2023, the Regional Container Lines (RCL) from Thailand opened an international container shipping route to Chan May port. Many craft villages have crossed the boundary of "self-sufficiency" and successfully commercialized their products. More specially, the famous craft villages of Thua Thien Hue can also develop tourism.

Not only famous for its important and beautiful lagoon system in Vietnam, Tam Giang - Cau Hai also holds great potential for tourism development.
