On the afternoon of February 19th, at Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), Mr. Franck Bolgiani, Cultural Attaché and Director of the French Institute in Hanoi, visited and held discussions with the Center to strengthen cooperation in preserving and promoting Hue’s cultural heritage.

The culinary festival titled “Vietnamese Noodle Heritage - Van Cu Noodle Village” opened on the afternoon of February 18 at Van Cu Hamlet, Nam Thanh Village. This is one of the main activities to respond to the celebration of receiving the national intangible cultural heritage recognition for the “Traditional Craft - Van Cu Noodle-Making Craft”, which is scheduled to be held on February 19.

Hue garden houses always carry a distinct charm, blending aristocratic elegance with traditional colors. With green and peaceful spaces of ‘tea’ (Acalypha evrardii) hedges, tiny yards, decorative guarding screens, as well as the yellow apricot blossom trees, and lovely persimmon plants in front of the house, etc. Hue garden houses reflect a slow-paced lifestyle that is close to nature and values the long-standing cultural values of Hue locals.

In parallel with the Festival, Hue has become one of the focal points for attracting, gathering, and spreading cultural values, serving as an environment and opportunity to revive and illuminate Hue’s cultural heritage.

Located along the Perfume River, the house at 23 - 25 Le Loi street is gradually transforming into a cultural space for book lovers and Hue culture enthusiasts.

A great number of tourists and locals flocked into the Huyen Tran Temple Festival held on At Ty new year’s days. This was an event held by the Department of Culture and Sports, opening on the morning of the lunar January 9th (February 6) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, located at the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

On the evening of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park, Phu Xuan District Youth Union, in collaboration with District Center for Culture, Information, and Sports, organized the 2025 cultural program “Mung Dang Quang Vinh” (In Celebration of the Glorious Party).

In the early days of the new year 2025, the Year of the Snake, many places in the city organized exciting spring activities, including cultural and sports activities, as well as folk games and royal court games, etc.

French architectural works are considered an integral part of the cultural and historical landscape of the Ancient Capital. This has also motivated young people from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University to seek ways to contribute to preserving the image of ancient Hue.

By blending modern technology with long-standing cultural values, Hue’s heritage is embarking on a new, vibrant journey.
