“The Traditional Cultural Identity of A Luoi” is the theme of an exhibition organized by Hue Museum of Fine Arts, which opened on the afternoon of November 28 at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (17 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District).

The exhibition showcases nearly 150 sketch paintings from the collection of Hue Museum of Fine Arts. These artworks are the “products” of the sketching program “A Journey of Sketching Traditional Cultural Beauty of A Luoi”, held in 2023 and 2025.

Each artwork tells a vivid story about the land located to the west of Hue City. There, we can encounter traditional architectural structures, poetic landscapes, unique cuisine, and everyday beauty of local life…

The exhibition also features a space showcasing, introducing, and demonstrating Zeng weaving craft and the traditional attire of ethnic minority communities in A Luoi. Additionally, various handmade products, including wood carvings, ceramics, and basketry… are also showcased for viewers on this occasion.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of Hue Museum of Fine Art, expressed her hope that through the exhibition, the public will gain meaningful experiences and, together, foster awareness of preserving and promoting the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic minority communities in A Luoi.

The exhibition will last until December 12.
