The Union of Science and Technology Associations of the city has just released the book: "Promoting the value of traditional Hue music in cultural and tourism development". The book, 300 pages long, is published by Thuan Hoa Publishing House.

On July 31st, a delegation from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, including 16 high school students along with representatives from Okinawa Prefectural Government and Japan Overseas Cooperative Association (JOCA) Okinawa Office, arrived in Hue City to participate in a cultural exchange and homestay program as part of the “OIC Youth’s 2025” program. This event is one of the key activities under the Japan-Hue 2025 Homestay and Cultural Exchange Program.

On the afternoon of July 25, the Information Center for Tourism Promotion, Hue City Department of Tourism collaborated with 4LLIN Co., Ltd. and AEON MALL Hue Shopping Center organized a conference to introduce the tourism product “Cultural and Artistic Experience Tourism in Hue City.”

On the afternoon of July 23rd , the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to evaluate the results of a non-state budget funded science and technology project titled: “Researching, expanding, developing, and harnessing the medicinal value of Abelmoschus Sagittifolius (Bo Chinh Ginseng), a valuable Vietnamese medicinal herb, to create a health-oriented material-products-gift set linked with scientific and cultural research in Hue City”, led by SBC Hoang Gia Co., Ltd.

Following the success of its first season, the Song2Light Art Market season 2, themed “Cooltopia”, officially taken place. The event, organized by Song Centre Hue Creative Space in collaboration with Sap Nghe Cultural Gift Shop, took place from July 18 - 20.

The People's Committee of Hue City has approved the organization of the first race designed to explore the city’s cultural heritage - “Hue Heritage Trail 2025”. This is a highlight event within the framework of Hue’s 2025 Wellness Tourism Week and responding to the 2025 National Tourism Year.

“Up to now, nearly 200 works and items within the Complex of Hue Monuments have been preserved, restored, and renovated, with a total expense of over 2.000 billion VND. This work has always strictly complied with the regulations of the 1972 World Heritage Convention, UNESCO guidelines, and the Law on Cultural Heritage of Vietnam, ensuring authenticity, integrity, and adaptability to the harsh climate conditions of the Central region of Vietnam, etc.,”. These details were shared by Hue Monuments Conservation Center to Mr. Lazare Eloundou, Director of UNESCO Cultural Heritage Center during his visit and working trip in Vietnam at the end of May.

Noticeable was the opening of the oil painting exhibition by Hoang Nhu Thuy An at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. Hoang Nhu Thuy An is Hoang Nhu Bua’s pseudonym, born in 1948, originally from Cau Hai (Cao Do) in Phu Loc, Hue, but currently living in Da Lat. The special thing is that all those paintings were painted after his stroke culminating in hemiplegia. He has learnt to paint with his left hand since then.

Hue Ancient Capital is a paradise for vegetarian cuisine. On the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month, even restaurants that usually serve meat often switch entirely to vegetarian dishes.
