By December 2026, the city will complete land clearance, handing over 100% of clean site area for construction of the North–South high-speed railway project, in compliance with Government requirements.

The city has undergone a process of accumulation and infrastructure investment, transforming its urban landscape. Completed urban infrastructure projects have largely met the requirements for connecting the central urban area with satellite towns, creating momentum for the city’s socio-economic development.

On the morning of December 30, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online conference to review one month of implementation of the “Quang Trung Campaign”, a rapid initiative to rebuild and repair houses for households whose homes collapsed, were destroyed, swept away by floods, or severely damaged by recent storms and flooding. After three months of implementing the renovation and embellishment work, the Historical site of the burial place of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan (the mother of President Ho Chi Minh), with many components, has been completed.

On the morning of November 29, leaders of Hue City Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment announced that the project of coastal road and the bridge passing over Thuan An estuary has reached approximately 90% of its total construction value; and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

After 12 days of assisting the authorities and people of Hue City in overcoming the aftermath of heavy rains and floods, on the afternoon of November 11, over 500 officers and soldiers from Division 968 (Military Region 4) completed their mission and withdrew to their unit.

From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

On the afternoon of August 25th, the City Steering Committee for Replacing Temporary and Dilapidated Houses held a conference to review the implementation of this program across Hue City.
