The International Dance Festival 2024 is being organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, from August 17 to 22 at the Thua Thien Hue Cultural and Cinematic Center (41A Hung Vuong Street, Hue City).

The International Dance Festival 2024, organized by the Department of Performing Arts (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, will take place from August 17 to 22 at the Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema (41A Hung Vuong Street, Hue City).

On the evening of August 11th, Cochincung Pub hosted a rock night as part of the “Middle Of Nowhere” tour, organized by X-Metal from Ho Chi Minh City.

On the morning of July 28, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam”, funded by the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) - Norway (through the WWF - Vietnam), received by Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Tourism, organized the inauguration of 5 waiting lounges and free water stations at tourist destinations, including: Thien Mu Pagoda, Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Ban Nguyet Bridge - Me Wharf, Vong Canh Hill, and Sinh Village wrestling area (Hue City).

On the evening of July 5th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of Hue Lotus Festival 2024 with the theme “Returning to the land of the Royal Lotus” at Tu Tuong Park, Hue City.

In an effort to stimulate tourism and create a vibrant atmosphere to attract locals and visitors to the Imperial City Night Street, the People's Committee of Hue City has directed relevant agencies to organize community cultural and artistic activities on the evenings of June 21 and 22.

Three provinces and cities of Vietnam, including Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam, have recently coordinated organizing a tourism introduction program for Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam in Taipei city, Taiwan (China) on June 21.

On the evening of May 31, Hue City's Youth Union coordinated with Hue Children's House to organize the opening ceremony of summer activities and the launching ceremony of the Month of action for children, as well as awarding prizes for a writing contest themed “Pens of the young ages”, and an English video clip contest themed “I am a tour guide” in 2024.

Located close to Hue city, owning unique community tourism products and experiences, Huong Thuy becomes an attractive destination.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, along with representatives of a number of departments and agencies, local people, as well as tourists, participated in the procession offering lotus flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Special National Monument - President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood Memorial House in Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) on the morning of May 19th.
