From November 24th to 28th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) Base 2 cooperated with the Medical Development Assistance in Vietnam (ADM-VN) Organization - France to provide free eye examinations and eyeglasses for local residents. This is the third time the program is implemented.

On the afternoon of November 26th, the Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital (HCH), in coordination with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the People’s Committee of Hung Loc Commune, organized a program providing medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine to residents affected by the prolonged flooding. This humanitarian activity aims to help people quickly stabilize their physical and mental well-being and proactively prevent diseases in the post-disaster period.

On the morning of November 20th, at Hue City Employment Service Center, the Department of Employment (Ministry of Home Affairs), in coordination with the National Employment Service Center and Employment Service Centers in regional localities, organized an offline-online hybrid job fair, simultaneously connecting with Quang Tri, Da Nang, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Ngai. The event attracted a large number of businesses and workers.

On November 20, Hue City Red Cross launched the program of presenting 1,000 gifts to households affected and damaged by the recent exceptionally severe floods. The funding was allocated by Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee through the “Joining Hands to Overcome Floods” program, aiming to promptly help residents stabilize their lives after the disaster.

On November 19, Hue City Department of Health held a working session with a survey delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to study and collect information for the development of the project of “Central Vietnam Healthcare Network Development”. This is considered an important initial step toward forming a large-scale cooperation project aimed at strengthening the healthcare system capacity in the Central region.

On the morning of November 18th, a working delegation from the Central Youth Union, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited Hue City to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th) and to give gifts to children and youth affected by the flood in Hue City.

On the afternoon of November 17, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) held a discharge ceremony for pediatric patient Nguyen Tuong V., 2 years old - the recipient in the hospital’s fifth liver transplant performed entirely by its own team of doctors. This achievement marks a significant milestone, affirming the hospital’s ability to master the entire liver transplant process - from organ retrieval and liver splitting to transplantation and post-operative care.

On the morning of November 14, Hue Central Hospital organized a meeting for the Diabetes Patient Club in response to World Diabetes Day. The program attracted nearly 250 patients and their families, bringing many practical activities to help them raise awareness about this increasingly prevalent disease.

On November 13, at the 2nd Floor Hall of Pediatrics Center, Hue Central Hospital, Hope Foundation coordinated with UNIQLO Vietnam to hold a program titled “Gifts of Support for Pediatric Cancer Patients Affected by Floods”. The program was organized to encourage and share hardships with the young patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.

On the morning of November 10th, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Nguyen Dinh Khang visited Hue City to offer encouragement and present relief aid to trade union members and workers severely affected by the historic floods occurred in late October 2025.
