On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

As part of Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week 2026 will take place from June 13 to 18 on the riverside stage along the Huong River, in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. The event is expected to become a major highlight of the Summer Festival, bringing together artists, dance troupes, and art troupes from Vietnam and many countries around the world.

Under the theme “Hue Heritage - Convergence and Divergence”, the exhibition introduced nearly 150 remarkable sketch artworks depicting Hue to the public in Ho Chi Minh City. The collection is currently preserved by Hue Museum of Fine Arts.

On May 14th in Hue, the Journalism Professional Training Center under the Vietnam Journalists Association, in coordination with the city’s Journalists Association, organized a specialized training course titled “Applying Artificial Intelligence and Automation in Multimedia Content Production” for more than 40 reporters, editors, and communications officers. Attending the event was Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nam, journalist, Chairwoman of the city’s Journalists Association and Deputy Director of Hue Newspaper and Radio-Television Station.

More than 3 years after the passing of folk artisan Cong Ton Nu Tri Hue, the one who kept the secret techniques of making royal armrest pillows of the Nguyen Dynasty, also known as the “trai dua” (armrest pillow-blocks), an exhibition dedicated to her titled “Wholeheartedly, with devotion” has been organized by young people.

On the afternoon of May 10, the opening ceremony of Hue Student Football Tournament (Hue Students SV7 2026 - Intrase Cup), organized by Hue University, took place at the artificial turf field complex of Chi Lang High School.

On the afternoon of March 7, the art photography exhibition themed “Perspectives on heritage” offered the public an emotionally rich artistic space, featuring 90 works by photographers from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. The event is part of a literature and arts exchange program closely following the traditional relationship of “Hanoi - Hue - Saigon”, which has been maintained since 2023.

The artwork “Whispers” by Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen, a student from the University of Arts, Hue University, has recently been honored as an outstanding work at the 8th “Hue Young Fine Arts Award” 2026.

Following a vibrant April filled with diverse artistic activities, the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2026 continues with a series of attractive cultural and tourism events throughout May and June, promising new experiences for both residents and visitors.
