The collection and digitization of Han-Nom (Sino-Demotic characters) documentary heritage has been carried out for many years in many clans, private residences, villages and communes throughout the province. This quiet work is still being pursued by staff of the Provincial General Library, in the hope of preserving the ancient documents passed down by our ancestors.

Though that was already the third time, the project of “Sketching Hue Ancient Imperial Capital heritage” still attracted many artists. Every place they visited inspired them. So far more than 600 drawings had come into being, contributing to spreading and promoting the beauty of the heritage of Hue culture.

Hundreds of sketch and poetic works about the beauty of the Ancient Capital heritage have brought visitors from one emotion to another in an exhibition, which was launched by Hue Museum of Fine Arts on the afternoon of June 23, at the Le Ba Dang Art Center (on Le Loi Street, Hue City).
