Prestigious awards such as the Mai An Tiem Award and the CoopStar Awards, organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, are not only a recognition of innovative and creative efforts but also a driving force for cooperatives’ growth. This contributes to elevating the role of the collective economy, cooperatives, and the position of the Hue brand on the country’s economic map.

On the evening of July 3, at Phung Chanh Hamlet in Vinh Loc Commune, Hue City Cooperative Alliance, in coordination with Vinh Loc Commune People's Committee, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, and Co.opmart Hue, held the opening ceremony of the 2026 Product Fair of Cooperatives, Affiliated Enterprises, and Saigon Co.op in Vinh Loc.

On the evening of June 26, at the Thanh Toan Tiled-Roof Bridge Community Tourism Site (Thanh Thuy Ward), the City Cooperative Alliance, in collaboration with the Thanh Thuy Ward People's Committee, opened the 2026 Product Fair of Cooperatives, Affiliated Enterprises across the city, and Saigon Co.op.

On the morning of February 1, at Co.opmart Hue supermarket, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, in collaboration with Hue City Cooperative Alliance and Saigon Co.op, held the opening ceremony for a Tet Fair themed “Stop by for Tet and you’ll like it - Step in and you’ll love it - Co.opmart Hue: Available on the shelf, ready to buy”.

The Cooperative Fair, held by the City Cooperative Alliance over two days, January 17 -18, at the Cooperative Economy Platform (16 Nguyen Luong Bang, Thuan Hoa Ward), was not only a shopping destination, but also a vital bridge bringing clean agricultural produce, OCOP products, and local specialties closer to consumers, contributing to spreading the value of the collective economy and building trust in local agricultural products.

On the afternoon of December 2, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, held an official meeting with ISET organization (The U.S), led by Mr. Michael Szönyi, Director of the Climate Resilience Alliance, Z. Zurich Foundation, and Ms. Karen Mac Clune, Executive Director of ISET in the U.S.

That was the message shared by Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, at the seminar themed “Green Transition and Strategy to Attract Industrial Investment in Hue City”, co-organized on September 19th by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Packaging Recycling Alliance Vietnam (PRO Vietnam), and Hue City People’s Committee. Attending the seminar was Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee.

On the morning of August 28th in Hue City, the Vietnam Tobacco Control Fund (VNTCF), Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), organized the opening of the 9th ASEAN Regional Conference on creating a smoke-free environment.

On August 16, the launch ceremony for the NADO Agricultural Pharmaceutical and Service Trading Cooperative (NADO Cooperative) was held in Doi Hamlet, Khe Tre Commune, Hue City. Attendees included Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; representatives from the city’s departments, branches and sectors; international organizations such as WWF Vietnam; community forest management boards; and a large number of local residents.

With the support of the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), the project to develop the value chain of native medicinal plants in the Central Truong Son region, implemented by Green Alliance Company, has brought many positive results for local people and the community.
