On August 13th, a delegation from the Schools of Politics and Public Administration of four Lao provinces: Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet, visited and surveyed an organic farming model operated by Que Lam Group in Phong Dien Ward.

On August 12th in Hue City, Nguyen Chi Thanh School of Politics held a seminar to exchange experience in personnel training and professional development with a delegation from the Schools of Politics and Public Administration of Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet provinces in Laos.

On the morning of June 8, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on examination administration procedures for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination for school administrators and teachers serving as heads and deputy heads of the examination centers, and secretaries from 37 examination venues across the city.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has recently released the 2025 Satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS) and the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX). According to the results, Hue continues to rank among the country’s leading localities in administrative reform and public service quality.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

The training course on implementing the “Safe Swimming and Drowning Prevention” Program 2026, organized by the city’s Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Vietnam Sports Administration (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), officially opened on the morning of April 17 at 12 Hung Vuong Street (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City).

Hue City is gradually building a modern administration grounded on digital data and technological platforms. The digitalization of public administration not only boosts the effectiveness of governance and administration but also aims to better address the needs of both residents and businesses.

Hue’s recognition with the Vietnam Smart City Award 2025 in the category of “Smart Governance and Administration” is not merely an acknowledgment of achievements. Behind the award lies a more important question: how is digital government actually operated to create real governance capacity, the one that can be measured and continuously improved?

On the afternoon of February 4, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a courtesy reception for a delegation from Champasak Province (Lao People’s Democratic Republic). The delegation visited, extended Tet greetings, and congratulated the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The delegation was led by Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Champasak Provincial Administration Committee.

On the afternoon of January 16, Hue Central Hospital held a conference to review its work in 2025 and deploy directions and tasks for 2026.
