On April 2, Hue Association of Traditional Medicine held an incense-offering ceremony to commemorate the death anniversary of Tue Tinh, a revered master physician and Zen monk honored as the founding figure of Vietnam’s traditional medicine, at Tien Y Shrine, No. 231A Xuan 68 Street, Phu Xuan Ward.

On the evening of April 1, Prime Minister and Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee Pham Minh Chinh, together with President of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, co-chaired a nationwide conference, held both in-person and online, on disaster prevention and control for 2026.

On the afternoon of March 30th, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicroPort MedBot (China) and Hanoi Foreign Medical (HFM) to establish the first Vietnam-China Robotic Surgery Training Center in Vietnam. This is considered an important step in the strategy for developing high-tech medicine, contributing to enhancing professional capacity and international integration of Vietnam’s healthcare sector.

On the morning of March 29th, in Thuan Hoa ward, Hue City, Van Phu Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (project developer) and Union Success Vietnam Joint Stock Company (investor) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Vlasta Premier - Phu Hoi Project (technical infrastructure component).

On the night of March 29, Hue City Youth Center, in coordination with Hue University Youth Union and Thuan Hoa Ward Youth Union, organized the 2026 “Rewinding Youth time” for students across the area.

On March 28, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University hosted the Korean Language and Culture Festival 2026 in Central Vietnam - a gathering for Korean language training institutions across the region.

On the afternoon of March 27th, more than 150 entrepreneurs and businesses in the city participated in “Vietnam’s Economy and Policies in the New Context: Solutions for Businesses” seminar, updating economic trends and exploring adaptive strategies for the new phase.

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.

On March 26th, favorable weather drew large numbers of residents and tourists to visit and experience Hue Monuments Complex during the free admission program for Vietnamese citizens on the occasion of Hue Liberation Day.

On the morning of March 26, Vietnam Railways (VNR), in coordination with the City People’s Committee, unveiled the new design of the “Connecting Central Heritage Journey” train and announced Hue Railway Station’s recognition as a tourist destination.
