On May 21, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong received Mr. Marc E. Knapper, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; Ms. Marie C. Damour, Consul General of the US in Ho Chi Minh city; Ms. Monica Damberg – Ott, Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam; together with cultural assistants and receptionists of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city on the occasion of their visit and work in Thua Thien Hue.

"Looking at the picture of cancer, many people find it very dark. But for me, it's different; I see this picture lighting up every time. The opportunity for patients to detect and successfully treat cancer is more favorable than ever…". That message was given by Prof. Nguyen Chan Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Cancer Society at the Annual Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control - Hue 2021. And that "picture" is being decorated by the Oncology Center (Hue Central Hospital) with brighter andvivid colors.

Through the first 3 days of the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year (April 29 to May 1), Hue welcomed about 30,000 visitor arrivals. Hue tourism has been really bustling in recent days.

The relic site of Nguyen Tri Phuong and the prince consort Nguyen Lam’s tombs is located in Dai Phu Village, Phong Chuong Commune (Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province). Dang Mau Tuu, the painter, Vice Chairman of Hue Cultural Heritage Research and Development Association, Standing Committee member of the Campaign Board of the construction of musician Trinh Cong Son statue at Hue City, shared that, in less than a year, from the date of announcement through many communication channels, and directly sending invitations to nearly 100 domestic and foreign authors, the Organizing Committee has received 9 sketches of Musician Trinh Cong Son's statue.

Inspired by folk paintings, royal fine art motifs, and paintings, the designer Viet Bao himself printed and dyed the fabric to design many Ao Dai models bearing Hue's own cultural identity.
