On the evening of April 1, Prime Minister and Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee Pham Minh Chinh, together with President of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, co-chaired a nationwide conference, held both in-person and online, on disaster prevention and control for 2026.

Hue City has recently launched the digitalization of its urban trees. Information on location, species, and health condition of each tree is now updated in data, paving the way for a more scientific, proactive, and safer approach to managing a heritage city.

This event aims to honor the role and contributions of intellectual women in medical sector, while also serving as a scientific forum to update advancements and share experiences in applying modern treatment methods and developing advanced medical techniques.

On September 27, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s Hospital, in collaboration with Nagoya University, Japan, organized an international workshop with the theme: “Nagoya - Hue UMP Endoscopy Workshop 2025: Advancing Gastrointestinal Care Together”.

On August 2, the Cardiovascular Center at Hue Central Hospital (HCH) hosted a specialized workshop titled "Ablation of Complex Arrhythmias Using RF (Radiofrequency) Technique". The event gathered numerous leading experts in the fields of interventional cardiology and arrhythmias from hospitals across the country.

On July 18th and 19th, the 2nd Vietnam Hernia Conference took place at the Training and Direction Center of Hue Central Hospital, co-organized by the hospital and the Vietnam Hernia Society. This is an important scientific event, aiming to update and share clinical knowledge and experience in treating hernia-related conditions.

From June 11 to 13, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the French-Vietnamese Respiratory Association (AFVP), organized an advanced training course on sleep disorders. The program aimed to update and enhance knowledge of sleep disorders for doctors and nurses from healthcare facilities across the country.

On March 29th, Hue City Association of Diabetes & Endocrinology, in collaboration with Vietnam Association of Diabetes & Endocrinology, organized the 8th Ancient Capital Expanded Scientific Conference to update medical professionals on the latest advancements in treatment within this field.

Held from December 13 to 15, the 19th National Cardiovascular Congress, with the theme “Cardiology in the New Era: The Path to the World,” is hosted by Thua Thien Hue. This event is not only an opportunity for scientists to share knowledge and experience but also a chance to update ontechnical advancements and new solutions to reduce the disease burden and improve the quality of life for the public.
