On June 22nd, an impressive assembly of over 150 artifacts, curated from the esteemed collections of 29 antique collectors spanning the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam, will be showcased at the “Antiques Gathering” exhibition held in the historic Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the evening of June 7, in the historically, culturally, and architecturally significant space of Kien Trung Palace, Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 officially commenced. Hue has begun a vibrant, colorful, and musical festival season welcoming visitor from all over the world.

Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.

On May 26th, at Hai Ba Trung High School, the provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary blood donation, the Co Do Living Blood Bank, and the provincial Red Cross Association organized the “Pink Hat of Hue” festival, focusing on hair donation and organ donation registration to save people’s lives.

On the evening of April 19, at Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City), the Provincial Department of Tourism organized the "Hue - Welcome Summer 2024" event. This event is part of the series of activities within Hue Festival 2024, with the aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome an attractive summer tourism season, as well as creating a media effect to attract visitors to Thua Thien Hue Province.

On the morning of April 4th, speaker Nguyen Trung Dan, Associate Professor at the University of Arizona, USA, held a talk show, sharing insights with lecturers, students, and high school students of the University of Sciences, Hue University on the topic of “Semiconductor Chips - The core of the technological era.”

The organizing committee of Hue Festival 2024 has recently unveiled the official poster for the upcoming festival, scheduled to take place in mid-June from the 7th to the 12th. The poster draws inspiration primarily from the restored royal patterns on the Kien Trung Palace in the Imperial Citadel, Hue city.

Kien Trung Palace stands as a significant architectural landmark in the Nguyen Dynasty's court system at the beginning of the 20th century.

Along with Kien Trung Palace, Thai Hoa Palace, a palace with the largest and most beautiful wooden architecture of Hue Imperial Citadel, has also been opened by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to welcome visitors on the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024.

On the morning of January 6, at the National Hero Memorial of Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue (An Tay Ward, Hue City), Hue City People's Committee held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 235th anniversary of Nguyen Hue’s Coronation and dispatching army to defeat the Qing army. The ceremony was attended by representative leaders of the city, departments, branches, unions and people in the area.
