On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. The program is led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, as part of Hue Festival 2026 series of events.

From July 16 to 21, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, attended the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC48) in Busan, South Korea. During the visit, the delegation also organized a series of large-scale cultural and tourism promotion events in Seoul and Busan.

On the morning of June 17th, Hue City People's Committee held a meeting and commendation ceremony for Hue Football Club following its achievement of securing one of the two direct promotion spots to compete in the National First Division for the 2026/2027 season. The event was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee. After graduating with a law degree and working in Hanoi for some time, Ho Thuong Liu (born in 1993) decided to return to A Luoi 1 Commune to start his own business. Drawing on the A Lin Stream that was part of his childhood, he developed a community-based tourism model centered on stilt houses, local cuisine, and the cultural traditions of the Bru - Van Kieu people. From a once-pristine and lesser-known destination, A Lin Stream has gradually attracted visitors, contributing to the livelihoods of local residents in the highlands.

On the morning of June 13, the swimming tournament of the 10th Hue City Sports Game 2026 officially opened at the swimming pool of Hue City Sport Center (No. 2 Le Quy Don St., Thuan Hoa Ward).
