On January 20, the University of Education, Hue University, organized a program themed “Spring Connecting - Tet Sharing”, taking students to return home to celebrate At Ty Lunar new year - 2025.

On the afternoon of January 18, at the space of 23-25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward, 40 children and their parents had a chance to join in an activity of experiencing cooking tet cakes to celebrate Tet holiday. This program was held by the Hue Book and Culture Club.

On the morning of January 12th, Hue City Youth and Children Activity Center hosted the Vietnamese and Korean Traditional Tet Experience event under the theme “Spring of Connection - Peaceful Tet.”

On the morning of February 22nd, at the tomb of Emperor Gia Long in Huong Tho commune, Hue city, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized a ceremony to launch the “Tet trong cay” (“Tree Planting Festival”) in the Year of Dragon 2024.

A large number of visitors and people from everywhere attended Huyen Tran Temple Festival, which opened on the morning of the 9th day of Tet (February 18) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, on the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Hue City).

The Department of Tourism has reported that during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon), the number of tourists visiting Hue for sightseeing and experiences has significantly increased compared to that of the same period in 2023, with many accommodation facilities fully booked during the festive days.

On the afternoon of the 30th day of Tet, the incense village of Thuy Xuan (Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City) became more crowded with many delegations of international tourists coming to visit, experience, and take commemorative photos.

Alongside the significant programs and activities that have been taking place in the city to create a joyful and bustling atmosphere to welcome the Lunar New Year of Dragon, Hue City focuses on embellishing the streets to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year), with the highlight of the 2024 Spring Festival stretching from the south bank of the Perfume River to parks and green spots in the city.

On the morning of February 5th, the Organizing Committee of Tet Hue 2024 program held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to units and localities.

On the afternoon of February 5, Thien Huong Pagoda (Minh Mang street, Hue City) coordinated with sponsors to give 100 Tet gifts to locals with difficult circumstances in the area of Zone 3, Thuy Xuan ward.
