On April 18, the University of Education, Hue University, held a ceremony to award AMA scholarships with a total value of nearly VND 1.3 billion, funded by AMA Scholarship Fund, to 30 underprivileged students with outstanding academic efforts.

On the morning of April 16, Hue City Association of the Blind organized a seminar to commemorate the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the School for Blind War Veterans (1956 - 2026), the 57th anniversary of the Establishment of the Vietnam Blind Association (April 17, 1969 - April 17, 2026), and the 28th anniversary of Vietnam Disability Day (April 18, 1998 - April 18, 2026).
