On the occasion of November 20 this year, the City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 outstanding individuals from educational institutions for their significant contributions to teaching, managing, and coaching gifted students in the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

On the morning of November 18th, a working delegation from the Central Youth Union, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited Hue City to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th) and to give gifts to children and youth affected by the flood in Hue City.

Hoang Ngoc Vinh An, a medical student, representing Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, surpassed many contestants from medical and pharmacy universities across the country to win the Second Prize in the “National Medical and Pharmacy Students’ Model Session” competition. This achievement helped Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy make a mark at the “9th National Medical Education Conference - 2025”, held at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in early November.

On the afternoon of November 15, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) held an online training session on developing digital competence (DC) for high school students, in accordance with Circular 02/2025/TT-BGDDT and other directives guiding the implementation of the Ministry of Education and Training’s Digital Competence Framework. ​

On the morning of November 12th, Hue University of Sciences, Hue University held a program to present scholarships and support gifts to students in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses during the floods at the end of October and early November.

On the morning of October 26, the live broadcast site of the final round of the “Road to Mount Olympia” 2025 took place vibrantly at the Song Huong Theater, Hue City. This event is not only a festival of knowledge, but also a journey that passes on the torch of inspiration among students of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On October 20, A Dot Border Guard Station, in coordination with the local authority of A Luoi 4 Commune and a collective of philanthropists from Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, organized a program to give 800 gifts to students and people in difficult circumstances in the area.

On the morning of October 19, Hue Hieu Hoc Education Fund held a scholarship award ceremony for students from Duong No Ward and various high schools across Hue City.

The Coast Guard Region 2 Command, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, the Propaganda Department, and the Mass Mobilization Committee of Hue City Party Committee, has launched an online contest titled “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year. The contest is aimed at Secondary school students from seven coastal communes and wards in Hue City.
