On the afternoon of July 28, a working delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, led by Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, held a working session with Hue City People’s Committee on coordinating the implementation of the Project to build and promote the national brand ‘Vietnam Photography City’.

On July 17, in Hue City, the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony for its K31 (2025 - 2028) doctoral course in the Central region. This is the Institute’s first doctoral training course held in the Central region.

On the evening of July 8th, at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, held the closing ceremony of the 2026 Three-Region Folk Instrumental Music and Folk Singing Festival. During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented numerous awards to outstanding artistic ensembles, individuals, performances, and programs.

On the morning of July 5, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports and relevant agencies and organizations, organized the 2026 environmental cycling event under the theme ‘Ao Dai along the Streets’.

On the evening of July 4, at the City Cinema and Culture Center, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People’s Committee, held the opening ceremony of the 2026 “Playing folk musical instruments and singing folk songs from the three regions” Festival.

On the evening of May 30th, at A Luoi 2 Commune, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports officially opened the first “Mountain Ethnic Groups Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival" 2026.

As part of the 1st Festival of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ethnic Groups in Mountainous Areas, on the morning of May 30, the Highland Culinary Festival and Traditional Cooking Contest officially launched at A Luoi 2 Commune Market.

From the evening of May 29 to May 31, 2026, the first “Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of mountainous ethnic groups” is being held in the communes, namely A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 3.

On the morning of May 21, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held a press conference to announce a series of cultural, tourism, and sports activities taking place within the framework of the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program, and to share information with the press and media agencies.
