On the afternoon of May 23rd, the “Hue – A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the People’s Committee of Quang Loi commune (Quang Dien), launched a Ngu My Thanh - Con Toc plastic-reduced tourism site.

At noon on November 28th, a delegation from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) had a working session with the Department of Health to discuss the implementation of the “Enhancing Efficiency in Disease Prevention and Control through a Smart City Model for 2025-2030” project.

On the afternoon of November 7, in the framework of the ASOCIO DX Award 2024 held by the Asian – Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) in Tokyo (Japan), Thua Thien Hue province was honored with ASOCIO Smart City Award.

On the afternoon of September 4th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, held a meeting with the leaders of Viet Personal Mobility Co., Ltd. (PM). The discussion centered on green transportation and the "Clean & Green Smart Hue City" project.

Hue City aims to establish a smart tourism information infrastructure which is compatible with smart devices, contributing to ensuring a consistent management system and the utilization of cultural and tourism information among local organizations. This is the objective of the project to build a smart cultural and tourism Hue city, sponsored by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam).

On the morning of June 3, Hue City People's Committee cooperated with the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) and Vietsoftpro Joint Stock Company and related units to organize a cycling event in response to World Bicycle Day (June 3) and to receive sponsored bicycles for Hue Smart Bike project.
