The natural-colored paintings of pressed flowers and leaves under the hands of Vo Thi Quynh, a former literature teacher at Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, bring viewers innocent and rustic emotions.

On April 4th, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School in Phong Chuong Commune, Phong Dien Town, in collaboration with the school’s Alumni Association, held a ceremony to inaugurate the monument to General Nguyen Tri Phuong.

Following in the footsteps of previous generations, in recent years, teachers and students of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted have continuously strived to add to the school's record of achievements, affirming the tradition of the land of learning.

In the years from 1930 to 1937, painter Mai Trung Thu was appointed to teach drawing at Quoc Hoc High School. Here, his talent blossomed. Series of his paintings were born, depicting gentle Hue girls, the charming scenery of the Huong river and the temples and royal mausoleums. His paintings in Hue rendered him a solid position in modern Vietnamese painting.

On the afternoon of March 21, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 - 2025 National Science and Technology Contest for secondary and high school students announced the results. Accordingly, students from Hai Ba Trung High School won the fourth prize in the contest.

With the theme “Shaping the Future," Open Day Festival 2025, organized by Hue College, attracted more than 2,300 students from secondary schools across Hue City, along with participation from various organizations and businesses.

Under the guidance of Quoc Hoc Hue Cooperation and Public relations Club (The Mosaic), students from various places have had the opportunity to learn about the history and architecture of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. This has been a meaningful occasion for students from different schools to explore a new learning environment, while also creating opportunities for cultural connection, experience, and sharing.

On March 12, the Department of Education and Training collaborated with Hue Help held a training session on equipping safety skills in water environment for officers and teachers at Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted.

On the morning of March 9th, 2.115 students from 533 schools across 54 provinces and cities nationwide participated in the online preliminary round of the programming competition for high school students.

For Le Hoang Anh Thu, a 12th-grade student specializing in History and Geography at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, history holds a unique appeal and passion. This has driven her to continuously strive for First Prize in the National Exam.
