While road and rail transport have been disrupted by heavy rains and flooding, Phu Bai Airport continues to operate, though some flights must have been adjusted.

Amid prolonged heavy rainfall and a high risk of landslides, on the afternoon of October 26, Phu Bai Ward evacuated dozens of households to safe locations.

Left untended and unfertilized, the rice grows naturally under the generous sun and rain. Some call it “heaven’s rice” — a variety grown from the grace of Tam Giang’s waters.
