Hue City is gradually building a modern administration grounded on digital data and technological platforms. The digitalization of public administration not only boosts the effectiveness of governance and administration but also aims to better address the needs of both residents and businesses.

On the afternoon of March 29, at Hue Book and Culture Space (23 - 25 Le Loi Street), the Hair Donation Day, with the message “Giving hair - Giving love”, attracted a large number of students and residents. The event was organized by the “One painting - Many hopes” project in collaboration with Thuan Hoa Ward Public Career Service Center, and Hue Book and Culture Club, with the support from Loan Nguyen hair salon.

On the morning of March 5, Hue City held the 2026 military enlistment and handover ceremony at 5 locations across the city. Despite drizzle and unfavorable weather conditions, the events were conducted solemnly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations, thanks to thorough preparation, ensuring absolute safety. All young men who had been called up for military service and service in the force of the City People’s Public Security enthusiastically set out to fulfill their sacred duty of defending the Fatherland.

On the morning of February 1, at the space located at 23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center, in coordination with Hue Book and Culture Club, organized the “Thuan Hoa - Binh Ngo 2026” Festival under the theme “Dung dang dung de - Welcoming Spring in Joy and Good Health”.

On the morning of December 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Con Dao Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to supply electric vehicles, including urban electric buses, for public transportation services in the Con Dao special administrative zone.

Amid the complicated developments of recent flooding, Hue City Department of Health has rolled out a series of coordinated response measures to promptly relocate patients while ensuring the continuity of medical examinations, treatment, and public healthcare services.

To build an e-government and smart city, Hue City has been focusing on collecting, integrating, and unifying digital data. This is not merely a technical solution but also a governance method that enhances transparency, efficiency, and public service for citizens and businesses.

On September 17th, Hue City People’s Committee office organized a training session on administrative procedure (AP) control and communication culture for public officials and employees (POEs) working at the Public Administrative Service Center.

More than 1,400 documents and artifacts previously managed by Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center have been handed over to Hue City Museum of History (268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The dedication of civil servants and volunteers, along with the application of technology, has made a positive impression, helping residents quickly adapt to the administrative procedures under the new two-tier local government system.
