To extensively promote national territorial sovereignty and spread the image of the nation’s borderlands, the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization has launched the 4th National art photo contest and exhibition themed “Pride in a border strip”.

Rolling out solutions to promote the bundling of tourism products into packages, linking tourism activities with the promotion and consumption of OCOP products and local specialties, while also aligning with the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values, is among the key tasks that the Prime Minister has requested the tourism sector to prioritize following the Lunar New Year holiday.

Without the need for large-scale promotional campaigns, many young people are turning to social media as their own way to tell stories about Hue. From short videos and everyday imagery to artistic projects, the image of the former imperial capital is gradually reaching the public in a more vivid and relatable way.

On January 29 and 31, the tourism sector of Hue and Quang Tri organized a program to introduce their local tourism and promote the opening of direct air routes in Seoul (Jan 29) and Busan (Jan 31), the Republic of Korea (RoK).

On January 27th, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, together with representatives of city departments and agencies, received and worked with a high-level delegation from Vientiane Capital (Laos). On the morning of December 27, the Department of Tourism organized a conference to promote rural tourism in Hue City.

Business intertwined with the promotion of Hue's traditional culture is a path that more and more young people are pursuing, asserting the creativity, identity, and spirit of self-reliance. Rather than chasing mass-market trends, “recalling the past to understand the future” has become the business philosophy for a segment of the younger generation, bringing cultural heritage into contemporary life naturally.

The 2025 Conference on Connecting the Consumption of Agricultural Products, Local Specialties, OCOP products, and Handicrafts in Hue City is being held by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support from December 26 to 28.

On the afternoon of December 22, a delegation from the Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, had an official meeting with Hue City People’s Committee on the implementation of smart city development in the city area.

On the morning of December 20, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (VASLD), and Vietnamese Society of Hepato Biliary Pancreatic Surgery (VSHBPS), in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital, held the opening ceremony of the 18th National Conference of VASLD & VSHBPS with the theme “Promotion of developing for technical progress”, and simultaneously launched the Minimally Invasive Treatment for HBP Chapter of VASLD.
