On the evening of July 8th, Hue City Tourism Association held a gathering to mark the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam’s tourism sector (July 9th, 1960 – July 9th, 2025).

The contributions and legacy of Diem Phung Thi - a sculptor, have left a profound impact on the global sculpting scene. Hue is fortunate that she chose to return and spend the rest of her life here, ultimately donating her artistic legacy to the city. Since then, many artists have come to visit, drawing inspiration and creating their own works as if they engaged in a boundless “conversation”.

On July 7, Hue College held a ceremony to sign cooperation agreement with the Global Association for Human Resources Training in Early Childhood Education in Japan.

On the afternoon of July 6, at the Oncology Center of Hue Central Hospital, the project “One Painting - Many Hopes” in collaboration with the Hue City Women Entrepreneurs Association organized the program “Sowing Little Sun”. In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. Through a variety of unique programs and activities, Hue’s tourism industry hopes to see strong growth in visitor numbers from this key market in the near future.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei has presented a collection of Vietnamese literature and cultural research books to the library of the International School Brunei (ISB), including famous literary works translated into English.

On July 3, the project “Hue - A Plastic Reduction City in Central Vietnam”, funded by WWF-Norway, in collaboration with Co.op Mart Hue (Saigon Co.op), GO! Hue (Central Retail Vietnam), and AEON Hue (AEON Vietnam) organized the event “No Plastic Bag Month” 2025.

On the morning of July 3rd, Hue City Blind Association (HCBA) held a mid-year review conference to assess its activities during the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the second half of the year, and review the five-year implementation of the 2021-2025 support program for people with disabilities (PWDs).
