On the morning of August 12, the City People's Committee Office announced that a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, had a working session with the Vietnamese Business Association in Australia (VBAA) and businesses in the state of Victoria.

On the afternoon of August 11, Hue City Party Committee, People’s Council - People’s Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City held a ceremony to mark the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day of All People Protecting National Security (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) at the City Cultural - Cinema Center.

Hue City People's Committee has issued the Plan No. 335/KH-UBND for the restoration of the national treasure “Nguyen Dynasty’s Throne”.

I visited Dang Mau Tuu’s Song Nhu Gallery many times and realize that he paints a lot about Hue gardens. Each of his paintings tells a story about trees, people, and “fragrant” silences.

​ On August 10th, the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest 2025 held its closing and award ceremony in Hue City. On the afternoon of July 31, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong held a working session with the leaders of Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company regarding the progress of the Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex Project in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, and discussed plans for investment expansion.

On July 30th, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports announced that Hue City People’s Committee has issued an official document approving the continuing of archaeological excavation of the remaining area approximately 200 square meters at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site (Kim Tra Ward, Hue City). The goal is to gain a comprehensive and complete understanding of the Lieu Coc temple-tower complex.
