Accordingly, beneficiaries will include the elderly, students, locals, and others entitled to fee reductions under regulations. Verification will be conducted by scanning data from citizen ID cards or VNeID, with images of valid documents stored for cross-checking when necessary.

Notably, the center is also studying the use of Face ID technology (optional) to enable faster checks at ticket counters and entry gates, aiming to streamline visitor services.

The pilot is expected to shorten processing time, improve transparency in fee exemptions and discounts, and enhance visitor experience at relics under the management of Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

Hue Monuments Conservation Center advises tourists to be proactive in carrying valid identification to verify eligibility for applicable concessions. Further details will continue to be updated on its official channel in the coming time.
