In response to the series of activities within the framework of the Autumn Festival themed “Hue in Autumn” of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Phu Xuan Ward, is preparing a variety of exciting programs for locals and visitors. Among them, the most anticipated highlight is the Unicorn-Lion-Dragon Dance Festival, Hue Unicorn dance performances, and the Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade through the streets in 2025.

On September 30, a working delegation from Hue City People's Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, along with Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, inspected the erosion situation along the Bo River, the O Lau River, and the restoration efforts following the aftermath of Typhoon No. 10 in several localities.

On the morning of September 29, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired an online meeting with local authorities regarding the recovery from Typhoon No. 10. Immediately after that, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the City Steering Committee for Civil Defence; and Colonel Phan Thang, Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Commander of Hue City Military Command, organized a meeting to implement measures to overcome the typhoon's aftermath in the city.

That is the vast green casuarina forest that the people of Thai Duong Thuong village (formerly Hai Duong Commune, now part of Thuan An Ward, Hue City) planted decades ago to shield them from the winds, stop the sand, and protect the village. Amidst the vast sky and land, the casuarina trees grow lush and strong, becoming a sturdy shield, guarding the village from waves and winds, and the harshness of the sea.

That was the message shared by Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, at the seminar themed “Green Transition and Strategy to Attract Industrial Investment in Hue City”, co-organized on September 19th by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Packaging Recycling Alliance Vietnam (PRO Vietnam), and Hue City People’s Committee. Attending the seminar was Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee.

On September 16, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. To Dung Thai, Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).

Recently, on the central streets of the city and along the Huong River, many people have noticed cyclos painted in Grab's signature green, with the brand’s logo and QR identification codes. This pilot program is being carried out under a cooperation agreement between Hue City and Grab Vietnam, with a group of cyclo drivers receiving support for vehicle repainting, uniforms, and identification accessories.

On the morning of September 7th, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front of Kim Long Ward (Hue City) solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate recognizing Van Xuan Communal House as a city-level historical relic.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the success of the first Phong Phu Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the Phong Phu Ward People's Committee organized the first “Run for the Community” race in 2025 on the morning of August 31, with the theme “Phong Phu - Steps of aspiration”.

On the morning of August 31, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held the “Chan May - Lang Co Jogging Marathon 2025”, with the participation of over 1,000 runners in all ages coming from various localities.
