Securing a total of 747 medals of all kinds in 2025, including 76 international medals; having numerous coaches and athletes honored with prestigious titles; and leaving notable marks at the 33rd SEA Games and on the continental stage… have, to some extent, confirmed both the foundation and the prospects for a breakthrough in Hue’s high-performance sports in general, and the City Sports Training and Competition Center (the Center) in particular.

On the evening of February 7, at Kim Long Park in front of Kim Long Communal House, Kim Long Ward People’s Committee held the opening ceremony of the program “Kim Long Tet - Where Tradition Shines” 2026. In response to the severe damage caused by prolonged flooding from October 27 to 30, 2025, which deeply inundated many areas and seriously affected the lives of thousands of workers in Hue City, numerous businesses across the area have promptly implemented support measures to help employees stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

A kite originating from Hue, which has been preserved for nearly 60 years in a museum in the United States, was discovered by a Vietnamese restoration expert. Through numerous accompanying documents, together with a passion for cultural roots, that expert “told the story” about how the kite was ordered in Hue Ancient Capital, then taken all the way to the U.S., and became an artistic artifact, etc…. It was truly fascinating.
