Just about 30 kilometers away, Quang Loi Lagoon is not far from the center of Hue City. It's located in Quang Loi Commune, Quang Dien District - a low-lying area rich in cultural identity. Covering approximately 800 hectares, the lagoon is part of the Tam Giang lagoon system. Following the flow of the waters, the lives of the people here are closely tied to the water as they engage in simple and humble fishing activities.

On August 19, the opening ceremony of the Fine arts Exhibition of the Region IV (the Northern-central region) 2024 was held at the Exhibition - Fair - Advertising Center of Thanh Hoa province, the Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

Hue has many outstanding fields to join UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). This not only promotes local cultural identity to the world but also provides an opportunity to attract tourists and investors to Hue. However, choosing which field to highlight the uniqueness of Hue when participating in UCCN is something that needs careful consideration.

When I was still very young, candies weren’t as diverse as they are now. Located 15 kilometers North of Hue City, Bao La bamboo and rattan weaving village (Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province) is a renowned traditional handicraft village.

On the morning of August 8th, at the University of Arts, members of the Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association transported 66 artworks to Thanh Hoa province to participate in the zone IV Fine-Art Exhibition (Northern Central Vietnam) 2024.

The close tourism cooperation with ASEAN+3 countries is bringing many positive signals for the national tourism industry. For Thua Thien Hue, the tourism sector needs to find ways to exploit and develop this international tourist market to create a major breakthrough.
