On March 19th, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung, along with members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, including Head of the Internal Affairs Commission Dang Ngoc Tran, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, and leaders of relevant departments and sectors, held a working session to inspect the construction progress of boarding inter-level schools (primary and lower secondary) in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes.

Young designer Linda Hoang (born Hoang Kim Ngoc Uyen Nhi in 1992 in Hue City) is transforming the traditional ao dai by bringing dragon-horse patterns and royal court motifs to linen garments and modern fashion. ​

Ngoc Linh ginseng is an endemic medicinal plant species with exceptional medical and economic value. However, the natural distribution area of this ginseng species is currently minimal, while the demand for conservation, development, and sustainable exploitation continues to grow. Research into transplanting Ngoc Linh ginseng to ecologically similar regions, such as Hue, is not only a scientific necessity but also opens opportunities to expand the conservation space and develop this precious medicinal plant.

On September 16, in Hanoi, the National Data Association (NDA) had a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to discuss a cooperation plan in digital transformation and heritage data development. On December 24, Korean Institute of Traditional Culture Research and ORIHERI announced that Nguyen Ngoc Phon, a 23-year-old representative from Hue (of Doan Trang Embroidery and Sewing Service & Trade Co., Ltd.), surpassed more than 2,000 contestants worldwide to secure third prize at the World Grand Prix Supreme Model Contest and Seoul Beauty Fashion Festival 2024 (World Champion Model and Beauty Fashion Festival in Seoul - Korea 2024).

Phan Ngoc Anh Thu, a student from class 8/6 at Tran Cao Van Junior High School (Hue City) has just won high prizes in the regional round of the World Scholar’s Cup 2023 (an international eloquence contest) held in Da Nang.
