Marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Musée Khai Dinh - Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities (August 24, 1923 - August 24, 2023), on the afternoon of August 24th, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities in collaboration with the National Museum of History organized an exhibition at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, showcasing the treasures of Emperor Khai Dinh - the one who contributed to the "birth" of the museum. In attendance was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary Phan Ngoc Tho.

The 4th marathon “Hue Jogging – Run for the Community” 2023 held by Hue City Youth Union opening on the morning of August 20 at Ngo Mon Gate attracted the participation of over 13.500 runners.

On the morning of January 1, at Ngo Mon Gate - Hue Imperial Citadel, the Provincial People's Committee organized the announcement of Hue Festival 2023 with the first activity being the re-enactment of the Nguyen Dynasty Ban calendar distribution ceremony.

On the morning of July 4, at Ngo Mon Square (Hue City), the Ministry of Public Security and Thua Thien Hue Public Security opened the final round of the People's Public Security Regulations, Shooting and Martial Arts Competition 2022 in the southern region.

"Hue - Saigon - Hanoi" was the theme of Trinh Cong Son's music night taking place on the evening of June 27 at Ngo Mon Square. This was one of the highly anticipated programs at Hue Festival 2022 and was also a music night to celebrate the 21st anniversary of remembering Trinh Cong Son, organized by the family of the late musician.

The opening art program, taking place at 20:00 on June 25 at Ngo Mon Square, is an art performance and ao dai fashion show, opening a series of exciting activities of Hue Festival Week 2022 (June 25 - 30).
