As part of the plan to organize the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the spring festival - “Spring of the Ancient Capital” has many unique programs and activities. Not only are there festival activities in the city center, but in the land on the majestic Truong Son mountain range, the “Spring Colors of A Luoi Highlands” festival would create more highlights and impressions for visitors to Hue this March.

“The failure at the 100-mile distance (equivalent to 160km) at the Vietnam Mountain Marathon in December 2024 has only driven me to set new goals in Ultra Mountain Marathon, with a strong resolve to rise from failure,” Nguyen Thi Ngot, a Hue-born runner ranked among the top 10 female amateur marathoners in Vietnam for the 42.195km distance, shared her plans for 2025.

With a period of operation for 6 years, the “Carbon Storage and Biodiversity Conservation” Project Phase 2 (CARBI 2) has successfully integrated conservation with sustainable development, aiming to preserve and restore forests in one of the world's biodiversity hotspots - the Truong Son Mountain Range between Vietnam and Laos.

On the morning of March 29, “A Luoi Highland Spring Colors Festival” 2025 officially opened at the Communal House in the Ethnic Minority Culture Village of A Luoi District (Hong Thanh Commune). On the afternoon of March 24th, at Kien Trung Palace – Hue Imperial Citadel, the exhibition showcasing the artworks of Emperor Ham Nghi themed “Troi, Non, Nuoc | Allusive Panorama” (Sky, Mountain, Water | Allusive Panorama) was officially launched by Art Republik Vietnam magazine, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the French Institute in Vietnam.

When February drifts through the vast forests of the Truong Son range, A Luoi adorns itself with a vibrant purple cloak of myrtle blossoms. Hillsides, mountain slopes, and valleys are blanketed in a dreamy purple hue, painting a poetic and enchanting landscape that captivates visitors from near and far.

Culinary culture not simply is about food but also contains stories about the vibrant life of indigenous people. In the vast Truong Son mountains, the dishes of Ta Oi, Pa Co, Co Tu ethnic groups are rich with the flavors of the forest from available natural ingredients, combined with age-old secrets, creating unique values found nowhere else.

On the afternoon of February 28th, Hue City and Grab Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement programs and initiatives supporting the city’s digital transformation goals.
