A Biah Hill, a.k.a Hamburger Hill, or Hill 937 is one of two historical destinations in the A Luoi highlands. The higher you climb towards the top of the hill, the narrower and more desolate the road becomes. Yet, this place still has a strange attraction for tourists, especially veterans from both within and outside the country. Many elderly visitors have to cut trees to make walking sticks, conquering more than 850 steps over 1.5km long to reach the summit.

History books of Nguyen Dynasty record that after ascending the throne in 1802, Emperor Gia Long established the medicine agency to serve the court. However, it was not until the reign of Emperor Minh Mang that the structure of Thai Y Vien (Imperial Medicine Institute) was gradually completed. As a meaningful highlight to attract tourists and people during the holidays of April 30 and May 1, the space to experience cuisine, poetry, and Ao Dai within the framework of Hue Traditional Cuisine Week 2024 at Thuong Bac Park takes place from April 27 to May 1, providing a place to have fun, experience, and enjoy regional cuisine throughout the country, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere for the long holiday.

Based on statistics on the number of guests booking rooms at accommodation facilities and tourist attractions, it is expected that Thua Thien Hue will welcome a large source of visitors from other provinces and cities during the upcoming long holiday of April 30 and May 1, with an estimated 65,000 arrivals.

On April 15th, Gbike Co., Ltd. (Viet PM) in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a ceremony to hand over and put into operation 20 GCOO electric bikes at Gia Long Mausoleum. At the same time, technology transfer, and supplementary services such as the GCOO bike-sharing technology application, electric charging, and bike maintenance were also provided.

Among many mausoleums of the Nguyen Dynasty, recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1993, Emperor Gia Long's mausoleum is a magnificent painting of the coordination between nature and architecture; in which, nature is the main factor creating the grandeur of the architectural structure.

With the initial numbers of 3 11-seat electric cars, 23 electric bicycles and 50 bicycles, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the heritage sites, enjoy fresh air, and admire the beautiful scenery of Gia Long Emperor’s mausoleum.

The painting "Long van khe hoi" (Nine dragons in the clouds) is a masterpiece on the ceiling of the old main hall of Dieu De Pagoda, which has been moved around 20 meters backward, and is currently being well preserved to the surprise of many. The painting used to be a topic of heated debate for many years regarding whether to keep in the old main hall or to dismantle it. Dismantling it also meant erasing this masterpiece.

Over 20 paintings depicting Hue heritages by Le Huu Long - an artist, have just been introduced to the public in an exhibition titled “Vong Hue,” opened on the afternoon of January 10th at Song Huong Magazine (9 Pham Hong Thai Street, Hue City).
