On the morning of January 24, the City’s Red Cross Society, in coordination with the local authorities of Chan May - Lang Co Commune and the main sponsor, Heineken Brewery Vietnam Co., Ltd., held the opening ceremony of the “Humanitarian Tet Market - Spring of Binh Ngo 2026” and presented 300 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged residents in the commune.

On the morning of January 23, Hue City Red Cross Society, in coordination with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Phu Loc and Vinh Loc Communes, organized a program to distribute Lunar New Year gifts for the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026 (the Year of Horse) to poor and near-poor households, families in difficult circumstances, and those severely affected by natural disasters in 2025 in Phu Loc and Vinh Loc Communes. The program was funded by support from Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup.

On December 30, in Kim Long Ward, Hue City Project Management Board for Construction Investment and Urban Development held a conference to announce the Zoning Plan (1/2000 scale) for the Golf Course Tourism Area located in Kim Long Ward and Binh Dien Commune, Hue City.

In mid-July, Ngoc Khanh Hat boi and Tuong co Troupe (hat boi and tuong co are types of Vietnamese classical opera) and others from the South gave two performances at Thanh Binh Tu Duong, also known as Thanh Binh Tu. The ancestral house, which is located in Alley 281 on Chi Lang Street, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, is dedicated to founding fathers of tuong. This house of great historical and cultural value has been recognized as National Heritage Site.

On the afternoon of July 30, as part of his working visit to Hue City, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited FPT Education Complex located in the An Van Duong New Urban Area, Thanh Thuy Ward, Hue City.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. On the morning of October 8th, the broadcast of the final round of the Road to Mount Olympia 2023 competition took place enthusiastically at the entrance of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted. Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, and over 2,000 students, teachers, and local residents who came to support Nguyen Minh Triet, a 12th-grade student majoring in Physics at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted.
