On the afternoon of September 21, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang hosted a courtesy meeting with a senior management delegation from PeaceTrees Vietnam (PTVN), led by Ms. Clair Yunker, Executive Director of PTVN.

On the morning of September 20th, Hue City Federation of Labor organized a program to provide support for disadvantaged union members, workers and children of union members at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, combined with Mid-Autumn Festival activities for the children. On September 19, the A Dot Border Guard Station, the Command of the City Border Guard, coordinated with militia, security, and local order forces in A Luoi 4 Commune to help local people harvest rice in Cur Xo, a residential cluster in Huong Lam Village, as part of ‘The Day to Return to the Village’ program.

On the morning of September 17th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) and Vietnam Association of Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery jointly organized the 2026 National Scientific Conference on Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery (VASEL 2026), themed ‘Technological Innovation - Integrating AI to Advance Laparoscopic Surgery’.

Drawing on the woodblock prints of traditional Vietnamese folk painting genres such as Dong Ho, Hang Trong, Kim Hoang, and Lang Sinh, the Woodblock Art Experience Space at 23-25 Le Loi Street brings visitors closer to traditional art. Beyond contemplating the artworks, visitors can try printing and coloring the woodblocks while discovering the stories and cultural values behind each piece.

From August 26 to September 15, the city’s health sector is rolling out the first high-dose Vitamin A supplementation campaign of 2026 for children aged 6 to under 60 months in ethnic minority and mountainous communes. The campaign aims to provide children with essential micronutrients and help reduce malnutrition rates in these areas.
