On November 17, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Hue City Innovative Startup Competition evaluated the submissions of the final round to select outstanding startup ideas and projects for the awards.

In a bid to support and accompany innovative startup projects and ideas, a range of programs, activities, and policy mechanisms have been implemented, delivering tangible outcomes for innovative startup products.

On August 13, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference titled “Orientation for solutions to develop an Innovative Startup Ecosystem in Hue City in the New Phase”. The event was held to foster the work of discussing, sharing, and offering solutions to agree on ways to promote local innovative startup ecosystem, helping it overcome challenges and reach new heights.

The “YES! Camp x Hue 2024” program, organized by Hue University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with CreBiz Factory (South Korea), is not merely a startup competition. It also fosters creative ideas, promoting the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship toward the goal of NetZero - a green and sustainable future for Vietnam.

Innovative start-up activities in Thua Thien Hue have obtained many achievements and have been honored. On the morning of February 23, the project ‘Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam’ (sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam through WWF-Norway) and the Provincial Center for Innovative Startup officially launched the contest “Initiatives to reduce plastic waste - Hue 2023”. The contest was held with an aim to find innovative ideas to reduce plastic waste in Hue City.
