On the morning of June 7, the Hue City Department of Health in coordination with Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City held a scholarship awarding ceremony for typical outstanding students who have overcome difficulties in 2025.

On the morning of June 7, the Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Federation of Hue City launched the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Phu Luong Commune, Phu Vang District. On the morning of June 6th, a signing ceremony took place between the Department of Construction of Hue City and the Public Works Bureau of Osaka City, Japan, to formalize a discussion minute on technical cooperation in the field of drainage and wastewater treatment. Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

On the morning of June 6, the 14th East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress officially opened in Hue City. The event was attended by 200 delegates from over 30 delegations representing local governments from China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Besides the international tourist market, the domestic tourist market is considered a solid foundation for a bright “picture” of Vietnamese tourism in general, and Hue City in particular. Capturing the trends and preferences of visitors presents an opportunity to leverage the domestic market.

The 14th East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress will take place in Hue City from June 5th to 7th, 2025, with the participation of over 200 delegates from 16 international localities (across 4 countries), 10 domestic localities, 2 international organizations, various ministries, and diplomatic representative agencies.

On the afternoon of June 4, a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Hue City and Nara Prefecture (Japan) took place at the Office of City People’s Committee.

On the morning of June 4, Hue City Youth and Children Activity Center organized the “Youth and Children with the Homeland's Sea and Islands” Day in 2025.

On the 10-acre field of red chiem rice (a traditional red rice grown in brackish lowlands of Hue City, sown by April and harvested by July), each planting season requires 40 to 50 hired laborers, and the harvest stretches over several days. Left untended and unfertilized, the rice grows naturally under the generous sun and rain. Some call it “heaven’s rice” — a variety grown from the grace of Tam Giang’s waters.
