The plant officially commence operations at the end of January 2024, playing an crucial role in effectively addressing the waste management issue and ensuring environmental hygiene in Thua Thien Hue province - a pressing concern for the community as landfills in Thuy Phuong have reached capacity, disrupting residents’ lives with foul odors emanating from overflowing landfills.

In 2024, numerous key projects in Thua Thien Hue province are expected to be completed and operational, promising to generate new momentum for development within the province. These projects not only contribute to driving the local economy and society but also create employment opportunities for workers.

On the afternoon of March 17, at 3/2 Park, Thua Thien Hue Music Association coordinated with the Vietnam Musicians Association’s branch in Thua Thien Hue province to organize a free music night themed "Remembering Trinh Cong Son".
