Over 2,200 students from 54 provinces participate in Hue-ICT Challenge 2024

HNN.VN - On the morning of June 23rd, the Organizing Board of Hue-ICT Challenge 2024 awarded prizes for the creative information technology (IT) product competition to participated college and university students and reckoned up the Hue-ICT Challenge 2024.

 Awarding the First Prize in Creative IT Product Competition

The Hue-ICT Challenge, under directions of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, is organized by Thua Thien Hue Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Association in collaboration with University of Sciences, Hue University.

The competition aims to encourage a spirit of learning, self-research and creativity, teamwork skills, and international standard integration among high school and secondary school students. It also seeks innovative IT product ideas among students and guides them towards IT careers to meet the labor market needs in Thua Thien Hue province, Central and Central Highlands regions in particular and the whole country in general.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Board presented one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and four consolation awards to students who created the best IT creative products. These are deemed promising, having the potential for further development and practical application, displaying the students' inventiveness and proactive research and learning efforts. The award-winning products were chosen from among over 50 registered IT creative products from universities in Thua Thien Hue and other provinces and cities in the country.

Earlier, in March 2024, at the programming competition for high school students, the organizers awarded 289 prizes, including 260 individual awards and 29 team awards. The programming competition received registrations from 2,200 students from 546 schools across 54 provinces and cities nationwide.
