"Studying the values of cultural landscapes of Hue heritage and the surrounding areas in order to preserve and promote the values of the Complex of Hue Monuments" is the topic of an international seminar held on August 9.

Along with supporting the restoration of Hue heritage, experts from the German Society for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage also strive to pass on love and understanding of heritage to local people, especially the younger generation.

That was the topic of a seminar, which was organized at the Intercultural meeting place (at 94, 96, and 98 Bach Dang Street, Hue City) on the morning of July 29 by the Huong River Museum of Antique Pottery.

On July 5, the Provincial General Library held a final round of the 2023 Children’s Painting according to Books Competition with the theme “Ao dai and Heritage”.

The newly-launched Hue Heritage Conservation Fund will supplement resources for the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage in the province.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Hue Monuments Complex and 20 years of Hue royal court music being honored by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the University of Fine Arts - Hue University organizes the exhibition "Hue royal performance through fine art" (taking place from June 16 to 26) to honor the beauty of intangible heritage.

The celebration of 30th anniversary (1993-2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of Hue Royal Court Music being honored by the UNESCO as world heritages took place during June 16-18. On this occasion, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had a conversation with Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center about the process of preserving and developing heritage.

In the framework of the activities celebrating 30th anniversary (1993 - 2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of the Royal Music - Vietnam Royal Court Music being recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO, on the morning of June 16, at Hien Lam Cac (Hien Lam Palace) - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held an exhibition named “Vietnam land on Nine Dynasty Urns”.

With the efforts of local authorities, the Government as well as international organizations, after 30 years of being honored as a world heritage site by UNESCO, the Complex of Hue Monuments has gradually recovered its original appearance and is in its phase of stability, development and value promotion.

The ideas for designing a pedestrian bridge over Hộ thành hào (Citadel Protection Dike) connecting Thượng thành (Upper Citadel) have just been announced by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center. What many people are interested in is whether or not the idea of building a bridge is feasible and affects the heritage.
