Two more Intangible Cultural Heritages recognized

HNN.VN - Hue City’s Department of Culture and Sports announced that the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to add two heritages in Hue to the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

Hue Beef Noodles from Ms. Cuong and Mr. Diep Bun Bo Hue named among the world’s top 100 best breakfasts Bun bo Hue listed among the “Top 100 best soups in the world”

Hue beef noodle soup (Bun bo Hue) is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage

Specifically, these are the Bhuoih Haro Tome festival (the New rice celebration) of the Co Tu people in Nam Dong, Long Quang, and Khe Tre communes of Hue City, and the folk knowledge of Hue beef noodle soup (Bun bo Hue).

These are unique cultural values closely associated with the daily life, beliefs, and traditional cuisine of the locals. This recognition not only helps affirm Hue's indigenous cultural value, but also opens up opportunities to preserve, enhance and more widely promote these valuable heritages to both domestic and international communities.

In these decisions, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees at all levels, where the newly announced intangible cultural heritages are located, to implement state management in accordance with the law on cultural heritage, within their assigned duties and powers.
