On the morning of January 4, Hue City Youth Center organized the 3rd Hue City Open Youth Chess Tournament - 2026.

On the afternoon of December 18, Hue wrestling shone brightly after securing a hat-trick of 3 gold medals in the women’s freestyle events, marking a remarkable feat not only at the SEA Games arena.

“Vietnam Sports Administration (Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism) has just issued a decision to establish Vietnam Sports Delegation for SEA Games 33, in which Hue sports contributes 1 coach and 7 athletes,” said Bui Thanh Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture & Sports on the afternoon of November 28th. ​

The Shuttlecock Kicking Tournament of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025–2026) opened on the morning of October 15 at Canh Buom Sport Hall (100 Pham Van Dong Street), bringing together 51 athletes from Hue University, Binh Dien Commune, Phu Xuan Ward, and Phu Bai Ward to compete.

To date, Hue Sports has essentially finalized the athletes who will join the Vietnamese delegation at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand later this year, amid hopes for the most successful Games yet.

The 2025 National Sports Championship for the Disabled were held from September 7 to 14 in Ho Chi Minh City. All athletes from Hue City won medals at the event.

On the morning of August 23, the City’s Youth Center organized the First Expanded Traditional Martial Arts Championship for Children and Youth in Hue City, 2025.

The 2025 National Youth Age Group Pickleball Championship kicked off on the morning of August 9th at the Pickleball courts of Hue College of Industry. This tournament is part of the national competition system.

The Hue Festival 2025 Pickleball Tournament kicked off on the morning of July 19th at Louis Pickleball Court, 68A Hoang Quoc Viet Street. This event is one of 11 competitions within the “Hue Sports Festival 2025”, the third community health sports festival.

The 1st Hue City Yoga Open Tournament officially opened on the evening of July 12 at the square opposite Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. This event marked the beginning of Hue Sports Festival 2025.
