The 2025 Asian Jujitsu Championship officially kicked off from May 23rd to 26th in Jordan. Among the eight Vietnamese athletes competing in, Hue Jujitsu contributed one representative who delivered an unexpected performance.

Stage 9 from Truong Tien to Phu Xuan, part of the “United Homeland” cycling race for the 37th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup 2025, kicked off on the morning of April 12 at Tu Tuong Park (Le Loi Street), following the award ceremony for athletes with top results in Stage 8 from Quang Binh to Hue City.

On the morning of March 16, the 2025 National Swimming – Diving Championship for the 25m pool officially kicked off at the pool of the Hue City Sports Center (No. 2 Le Quy Don St.), attracting the participation of a great number of athletes and audiences all over the country.

The opening of the Co Do (Ancient Capital) Modern Dance and Folk-Dance Cup took place on November 24th, 2024, at the gymnasium of Hue University’s Faculty of Physical Education. The event attracted 300 athletes from 25 dance and folk-dance clubs across the province.

Thua Thien Hue Sports boasts excellent generations of athletes, contributing to the honor of their homeland. Many of them are especially “Gold” girls.

Aside from contributing to earning Hue sports fame, the team of athletes who are the national team’s members is also a resource for the long-term and sustainable development of the provincial sports.

Once again, Thua Thien Hue Karatedo took the throne with a spectacular return to the top at the 10th Central Region - Central Highlands Karatedo Championship in 2024. Also in late April, 2 athletes Le Van Tinh and Le Minh Thuan are part of the national team to compete at the Southeast Asian Championship in Thailand.

According to the information from the Department of Culture and Sports, Thua Thien Hue for the first time is honored to have 3 athletes in the official squad for ASIAD 19, including Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi and 2 sisters Nguyen Thi My Hanh and Nguyen Thi My Trang.

A fledgling sport notwithstanding, Thua Thien Hue sepak takraw has shown its strength and development. With a team of young and good-quality athletes, Thua Thien Hue sepak takraw gradually changes the color of medals through the tournaments.

At 3 a.m. athletes competing in the 42km marathon of the VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2023 officially started under light rain.
