On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

The 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival 2025 will be held in Hue City. This information was recently announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

As part of the World EXPO 2025 held in Osaka, Kansai (Japan), Hue City Department of Culture and Sports introduced the culture and history of Hue Ancient Capital to the world. Especially this year, Hue City is hosting Vietnam’s National Tourism Year 2025.

Hue Students Football Tournament 2025, competing for the Ba Na Hills Cup, kicked off in the afternoon of April 15 at the football field of Phu Xuan District’s Culture, Information & Sports Center (150 Nguyen Trai Street). Not only are there festival activities in the city center, but in the land on the majestic Truong Son mountain range, the “Spring Colors of A Luoi Highlands” festival would create more highlights and impressions for visitors to Hue this March.

The National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025 represents a major opportunity for Hue’s tourism industry. The key issue is how to ensure that by the end of NTY, Hue gains significant “profit,” not only in visitor numbers.

On the afternoon of April 8, Hue City People’s Committee held a sponsorship contract signing ceremony for the National Tourism Year 2025 and Hue Festival 2025 with Vietnam Airlines Corporation – Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Company.

On the afternoon of April 7th, a representative from the Department of Tourism reported that, according to preliminary statistics, approximately 105.000 visitors came to explore and experience tourist destinations in Hue over the four-day holiday period from April 4th to April 7th, 2025.

On the afternoon of April 4, information from the Department of Tourism said that, based on the assessment of visitor arrivals to Hue during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, the number of visitors to Hue City is forecast to increase sharply.

On April 2nd, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a working session with Ms. Sarah Hooper, the Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in heritage conservation, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism development between Hue and Australia.
