The training program is designed based on Switzerland’s advanced tourism and hospitality management model. Switzerland is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading centers for hospitality management education. The course content focuses on key areas such as luxury hotel management, tourism service management, customer experience management, leadership competence and human resource management in the service industry, as well as emerging trends in sustainable tourism development and destination management.

The course is designed for managers and personnel working at tourism enterprises, hotels, resorts, and tourism service establishments, as well as state management officials in the tourism sector in Hue City and nearby localities.

Through this training program, trainees will get the chances to access modern approaches of management, enhance their leadership and operational capacities, while also gaining practical experiences from international experts working in the field of tourism and hospitality management.

The organization of advanced tourism and hospitality management training courses based on Swiss standards is one of the practical activities held to implement Hue City’s orientation on tourism development in the new phase. Hue is striving to build tourism into a spearhead economic sector, developing it in a high-quality, sustainable manner while preserving its distinctive cultural identity. In this context, improving the quality of human resources is considered a key factor in enhancing Hue’s competitiveness as a destination on both the national and international tourism map.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, leaders of the Department of Tourism emphasized that the training program not only helps equip the tourism workforce with modern management knowledge and skills but also fosters stronger connections among management agencies, training institutions, and businesses in the development of high-quality human resources. The program also offers participants an opportunity to exchange experiences and update themselves on emerging trends in tourism and hospitality management, thereby contributing to improving service quality and enhancing visitors’ experiences when coming to Hue.

In the coming time, the Department of Tourism will continue to connect with prestigious institutes and organizations at home and abroad to implement more specialized training and capacity-building programs aimed at developing high-quality tourism human resources. These efforts are expected to contribute to building Hue’s tourism image increasingly professional, friendly, attractive, and internationally integrated.
