Hue has significant room for industrial development, especially as the city expands its development space. This was affirmed by Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Member of the Standing Committee of Hue Party Committee and Head of Hue Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board, in an interview with Hue Today Weekly on the advantages driving the growth of the city’s industrial sector.

On the evening of September 21, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, in coordination with Kim Dong Park, and the Youth Union Chapter of the Faculty of Marketing and Commerce, University of Economics, Hue University, organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program themed ‘Enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival’ for children facing difficult circumstances in the city.

On September 21st, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, received a delegation from Waseda University and the University of Tsukuba (Japan). On the morning of September 20, the Executive Committee of Hue City Theater Artist Association, in coordination with Hue Opera House and Hue Royal Traditional Arts Theater, held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Theater Day 2026.

On the afternoon of September 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a meeting to review the organization of Hue Heritage and International Music Festival - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026. Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang chaired the meeting. The meeting was also attended by representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units.

On the morning of September 18th, Hue City Department of Science and Technology held a council meeting to evaluate and consider commissioning a state-funded science and technology task on developing a real-time system to control and simulate flood propagation and provide smart warnings, serving disaster management and response across the city.

Changes in planning, infrastructure, and development space as Hue became a centrally governed municipality are opening up more room for the real estate market. However, experts said that this potential can translate into real value only when projects link to infrastructure, user demand, and the characteristics of a heritage city.
