On the afternoon of April 26th, at Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion) inside Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the “Exploring and Promoting the value of the Documentary Heritage: The relief castings on the Nine Dynastic Urns at Hue Imperial Citadel” event in celebration of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Thuan Hoa District, in collaboration with Hue City branch of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, organized the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition themed “Hue - A city bursting out with vitality”.

On April 21st, the International Medical Quarantine Department of Hue City Center for Disease Control (Hue CDC) carried out the cleaning, maintenance, and operation of two SATIR CK350-F remote temperature screening systems installed at Phu Bai International Airport.

On the morning of April 19, a special event titled “Hue - Pioneer in Green Heritage Tourism Development and Bicycle City" took place at the Noon Gate Square - Hue Imperial Citadel. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC), and representatives of the GCOO brand in Vietnam – VietPM.

On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

As part of the plan to organize the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the spring festival - “Spring of the Ancient Capital” has many unique programs and activities. Not only are there festival activities in the city center, but in the land on the majestic Truong Son mountain range, the “Spring Colors of A Luoi Highlands” festival would create more highlights and impressions for visitors to Hue this March.

After concluding Stage 9 of Truong Tien - Phu Xuan, the 37th National Cycling Tournament for Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup, themed “United Homeland”, kicked off Stage 10 on the morning of April 13th, starting from Hue City to Da Nang City. This year, the starting point was held at Phu Van Lau (Le Duan Street), instead of the usual location at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema.

Flowing through the center of Hue City, the Huong River, a heritage river, is one of the iconic symbols of Hue Ancient Capital. Visitors to Hue will surely be enchanted not only by the Huong River but also by the peaceful, tranquil, and vibrant beauty of the Dong Ba River, the An Cuu River, and the Ngu Ha River, etc. This is why Hue is known as the “city of rivers”. Associated with over 700 years of history in expanding and developing the land of Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan, each of these rivers is not just a natural landscape, but also a historical and cultural witness to this land.

On April 2nd, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a working session with Ms. Sarah Hooper, the Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in heritage conservation, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism development between Hue and Australia.

The trade connection program between enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in Hue City with Central Retail Vietnam Group was organized by the City's Center for Trade Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support on the afternoon of March 31.
